About Our Founder

Hi, I’m Lesley Pyle, Founder and CEO of Hire Thy Neighbor and HireMyMom.com. My heart’s desire is to help families, neighbors, and small businesses thrive. I am a Mom to four and Nana to three — soon to be four! I’m a native Texan and currently live in the Houston area.

Over 25 years ago, I felt a call to create meaningful work opportunities for moms, which led me to launch HireMyMom.com in 2007. Since then, we’ve helped over 30,000 small businesses find talented virtual professionals. But I didn’t stop there.

I’m thrilled to introduce HireThyNeighbor.com — a Christian-themed platform that connects local residents with trustworthy, skilled neighbors for personal care, household services, and local-based services. It’s about creating a platform where people can get to know, like and trust you as a small business and develop a long-term relationship that lasts while spreading the ❤️ of Jesus.

My faith is at the heart of it all. God has taken broken pieces of my life and created beauty from ashes. He’s restored what was lost and filled my life with purpose. I’m dedicated to glorifying Him in all I do, from raising my family to running my businesses.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me starting my day with Bible time and prayer, walking my dogs, or squeezing in a Tonal workout. I’m always trying to learn something new, and l love to spend time with family and friends.
